What you will do in your working day
You will work with experienced chefs and a highly experienced Head chef who will guide and train whilst working in our brigade. Duties will include:
- Prep dishes
- Cook certain dishes and plate up from scratch with training
- Work with our chefs in executing dishes for banqueting
- Be part of the team in producing high end dishes for restaurant
The training you will be getting
- The apprentice will be working towards the Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship Standard
- College attendance will be at the Colchester Institute - Colchester Campus one day per week during term time
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- The apprentice could progress into becoming a Chef de Partie.
