What will the apprentice be doing?
- Planning and executing activities for the children to learn and develop
- Changing nappies and getting involved in healthy eating and cleaning
- Interact positively with children, parents, visitors and other staff members
- Meeting and greeting of children and parents
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- Training will be a combination of on the job experience and independent learning with the training provider offering online and face to face support
- In addition to which our ethos for continuous professional development means that there will be support from the team who have a breadth of experience and are highly qualified
- Apprentices must successfully complete the Apprentices must successfully complete a first aid qualification in line with the requirements of the EYFS Framework
- Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking their end point assessment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- To gain your qualification as a qualified early years educator, with the possibility to progress to a full-time job, subject to interview
