What you will do in your working day

Get an early taste of leadership by taking on responsibility for a team of colleagues within a department. Experience all areas of our stores, gaining an overview of its operation and helping to keep our stores running smoothly. Day-to-day tasks that you will be responsible for could include:

  • Ensuring the store is set up to the best standard to drive sales and continue delivering a great customer experience
  • Spending time with other colleagues to understand each area of our stores and the part they play
  • Supporting live business projects to develop project management skills
  • Learning about our store trading operations and systems.

The training you will be getting

As well as learning on-the-job, if in England, you’ll also be studying towards a BSc (Hons) Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship at University of Bradford.

Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we'll offer study leave to complete university work stress free. At the end of the scheme, you’ll have built the experiences and skills needed to be a future store manager and will have gained a full chartered membership of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute for England).
