What you will do in your working day

Join us as a Food Technology Degree Apprentice and work within one of our 17 sites across the UK to make sure we’re staying on top of Food Safety, Food Quality and Legality. Learn about each of our technical teams, spending time in a variety of roles, to develop your food manufacturing knowledge and leadership skills. Responsibilities you could take on during the scheme include:

  • Providing support at our Flowerworld manufacturing site at peak trading times, such as Valentines or Mother’s Day
  • Working closely with production teams to understand how they run and the impact they make
  • Working with our Technical Systems Manager to understand product specifications, write procedures and develop existing systems

The training you will be getting

As well as learning on-the-job, you’ll also be studying towards a BSc (Hons) Professional Practice in Food Technology Management at Sheffield Hallam University. Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we'll offer study leave to complete university work stress free.
