What will the apprentice be doing?

Join us as a Manufacturing Degree Apprentice and work across a variety of manufacturing teams to gain an understanding of equipment, processes and technologies.

Gain hands-on experience, learning from skilled team members from all areas of the site. Day-to-day tasks that you will be responsible for could include:

  • Running production lines and leading our production teams
  • Providing support at our Flowerworld site at peak trading times, such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day
  • Finding solutions to improve the efficiency of production lines

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • As well as learning on-the-job, if in England, you’ll also be studying towards a Bsc (Hons) in Chartered Management at the University of Bradford, or a BA (Hons) Business Management Degree Apprenticeships with University of Strathclyde if in Scotland
  • Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we'll offer study leave to complete university work stress free
  • At the end of the 3-year scheme, Apprentices could be prepared for a Shift Manager role on one of our sites and have gained a full chartered membership of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute)
