    £11,668.80 to £23,028.20

    28 days holiday including bank holidays, and you can enrol into a nest pension.

    Monday to Saturday 9:00am - 5:30pm. 1 day off in the week, with a 1 hour lunch break and a breakfast break.

What will the apprentice be doing?

You will be working with our experience butchery team learning the following:

  • How to break up carcass meats down to saleable cuts;
  • Assist with the preparation and production of kebabs and stir fry's;
  • Take in deliveries, pack and correctly store products, learn about stock rotation and serve customers on the counter.

  • Butcher Standards Level 2 Qualification
  • FDQ Level 2 Award in Food Safety
  • FDQ Level 2 Award in Health & Safety
  • FDQ Level 2 Award in Knife Skills
  • Level 1 / 2 Functional skills in English and maths if required
