Duties include: arranging the export clearance of standard EU shipments, processing the paperwork and moving at pace to ensure zero delay deliveries.

What will the apprentice be doing?
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Be proactive in identifying and resolving any potential routing issues before they occur – finding creative solutions for complex problems
- Ensure all administrative duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Arrange the export clearance of standard EU shipments, processing the paperwork and moving at pace to ensure zero delay deliveries
- Transfer various sources of data from customers documentation to our customs system
- Communicate with border forces to ensure seamless border crossing
- Assist in weekly and monthly KPI as set by the business and/or customer
- Ensure that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information both internally and externally as required e.g. dealing with customer / supplier issues etc.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- An apprenticeship in Supply Chain Operator Level 2 (Traffic Office)
- Functional Skills in math and English if required
- You will have monthly 3 hour visits with your tutor in the workplace.
