What will the apprentice be doing?

· Provide 1st Line support on the service desk, ensuring all tickets, incidents and service requests are correctly logged and managed via our CRM system.

· Dealing with internal IT support, supporting staff and customers with office 365, outlook, internal LAN/ network.

· Working with our other internal systems and platforms.

· Perform route cause analyses on issues and where appropriate investigate reasons and feed back to the team.

· Offering support and guidance to users in the use of the company’s bespoke business applications and liaising with our in-house maintenance team.

· Working as part of a team and feeding back to line Manager.

· Ability to work from own initiative.

· Taking calls and responding to emails.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

Your training takes place away from your usual location of work and in one of NowSkills' city centre training venues. If this isn't convenient for you then NowSkills also provides live online, on-demand online and 1:1 with your subject specialist digital tutor that you will have assigned to you.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a certification of your Level 3 ICT standard.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will potentially have the opportunity to progress onto full-time IT positions within the business
