Anglian Compressors is currently looking for a motivated and driven Apprentice to work alongside our Multi Skilled Engineers, learning the trade from professionals. Undertaking electrical and mechanical tasks, the Apprentice will learn on the job and be given all the opportunities for a strong foundation to grow within the compressed air industry. To install and commission compressed air, blowers, N2 Generators and vacuum equipment and their associated ancillary items and distibution systems etc.

What will the apprentice be doing?
· To install and commission compressed air, blowers, N2 Generators and vacuum equipment and their associated ancillary items and distibution systems.
· Completing planned service work and reactive fault diagnosis and repairs. Ensuring equipment is working at its optimum efficiency
· Trained to complete a range of documentation/reports, including risk assessments and service records
· The apprentice is expected to interact with their team, colleagues, managers, sub-contractors and customers as required.
· One day a week will be set aside for undertaking a Compressed Air and Vacuum Technician - Level 3 qualification at the Anglian Compressors Peterborough Office
Note:
· Hands-on training would be day-to-day, working with our team of highly skilled electrical/ mechanical engineers across a wide range of customer sites and in our workshop.
· Level 3 Qualification is undertaken through Semester Learning & Development: an online learning and development specialist for up to 36 months
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
· When completing the apprenticeship, a 'Compressed Air and Vacuum technician' Level 3 Qualification will be obtained (equivalent to an A Level)
· The course is remote distance learning and you will have one designated day per week in our office to complete the work required.
· The location of hands on training would primarily on a wide range of customer sites and in our workshop in Peterborough
· Elements of the apprenticeship education would be carried out by globally recognised and market leading compressor manufacturers
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
· On completion fo the apprenticeship, we hope for a well rounded engineer who can join our team.
· Career progression will then continue with various disciplines, including F gas qualifications or Pressure System Safety Regulation testing training
