What will the apprentice be doing?
Oak Software is a small, but growing, software development company based in Loughborough, Leicestershire with clients across the UK and Ireland. Oak specialises in providing Subscription Management Software & Services for publishers offering periodical print and digital products.
The candidate is required to work within our busy Support department supporting our software for clients. This entails data management work, testing software, diagnosing bugs and first-line support. As part of the busy support team, you will need to respond to clients’ support queries by telephone and email and escalate issues to 2nd and 3rd-line support. There will be opportunities to develop your skills and move into other areas that interest you.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Your apprenticeship training will be a blend of interactive online classroom delivery and face to face teaching in the hub
- You will attend sessions as per the delivery schedule issued to you prior to your first day of the apprenticeship
- Your apprenticeship will consist of compiling a digital portfolio, knowledge exams and an End Point Assessment
