What will the apprentice be doing?

To summarize, the work of Tax-Link will include:

  • Preparation of the quarterly VAT returns.
  • Personal Self- assessment tax return
  • Company secretarial assistance - regarding filling of various forms and returns to the Registrar of Companies.
  • General and ongoing pro-active tax, accounting and financial advice and tax minimization consultation.
  • PAYE & Salary administration including monthly pay slips. Monthly RTI (Real Time Information) submission to HMRC and annual PAYE returns. 
  • You will also learn about inside or outside IR35 regulations.
  • General office administrative tasks, for example taking phone calls etc.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Working towards the AAT Level 3 qualification with Solveway Apprenticeships as your training provider.
For this role training will be through our LIVE on-line learning portal with a highly-qualified tutor.
Training is typically one day a week.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After the apprenticeship has finished you may have the opportunity to work at Tax Link as an employee and further your studies with AAT L4.
