What will the apprentice be doing?

  • The role will include face-to-face reception desk work
  • Answering telephone calls, a good telephone manner and the ability to work as part of a team are essential
  • Scanning paperwork, issuing repeat prescriptions and a variety of admin tasks

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • One day a week of college work to be completed on the premises
  • Successful applicant will achieve a level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administration 
  • Qualification equivalent to two A-Levels

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Potential to be kept on after role if there are hours available
  • Could progress on to a higher level apprenticeship
