What will the apprentice be doing?
Working towards completing the Learning and skills teacher Level 5 apprenticeship standard.
You will join our music teacher apprentice team where we deliver group and ensemble education both in school and as an extra-curricular activity:
1. WCET - Whole Class Ensemble Tuition
2. Ensemble - Teaching a band/choir
3. Lessons - Group Music Lessons
4. Education Administration
5. Customer Communications
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 5 Learning and skills teacher HND
We deliver all of the statutory training required to be a teacher, including:
1. Safe-guarding
2. Health & Safety
Apprentices will attend in-person workshops at college approx every 6 weeks, they will be visited in the workplace by a college instructor-mentor and be guided through their apprenticeship by them and their workplace mentor.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
