Working in our Garden Room Restaurant, which serves seasonal menus and includes produce from our own organic kitchen garden, you will learn how to work a successful restaurant whilst providing high levels of customer service. What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Learning about the food we serve and its seasonality 
  • Both formal and informal food service - weddings and functions as well as day-to-day service 
  • Helping to operate the bar (with supervision) 
  • Assisting with organising events 
  • Serving guests as required 
  • Upholding high levels of customer service 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Hospitality Team Member level 2 Apprenticeship.

You will attend college once per week at the Buxton Campus, college transport is available, alongside training in the workplace. 

If you have not already achieved GCSE Maths & English 4/C or above there is also the possibility to study towards Functional Skills equivalency qualifications.

About the employer

Callow Hall Hotel is a newly refurbished hotel. With 15 bedrooms in the hotel and 13 outside accommodation. We have a new restaurant called the Garden Room Restaurant. A exciting restaurant which can sit up to 60 guests. We have 35 acres of land and Callow Hall is in the gateway to the Peak district. Be part of an exciting new adventure and a new group.
