What will the apprentice be doing?

You will get experience working across a multitude of finance tasks which will include:

  • Raising and processing purchase invoices on the company’s accounting system.
  • Reviewing and processing credit card expenses.
  • Reviewing and processing staff expenses.
  • Processing of customer refunds including detailed record keeping and uploading to company’s accounting system.
  • Assisting in the preparation of production of weekly/monthly financial reports including assisting the Finance Manager with preparation of the monthly management accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial information required for tax and audit reporting.
  • Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The Level 2 AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting

  • One day per week
