What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties include: (but not exhausted)

  • Day to day activities of a dental nurse taking a full written history of a patient
  • Triaging patients over the phone and presenting cases to the dentist you will be involved with developing the treatments we provide
  • Establishing strong rapports with patients

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Dental Nurse Level 3
  • Functional Skills in Mathematics and English may be required
  • On and off the job training and location to be confirmed

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There will be a full time position available for the right candidate.

Stonydelph Dental Practice is a 2 surgery family practice based n Tamworth. Dr Khan has owned the practice for 10 years and as successfully trained several nurses through PTP. Dr Khan as extensive knowledge and also has a ILM level 5 qualification in Coaching & Mentoring as well as a Post Graduate training in Dentistry.
