What will the apprentice be doing?

The tasks will be varied to support the Resources department and whilst not exhaustive, will include:

  • Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Managing filing systems
  • Developing and implementing new administrative systems, such as records management
  • Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment
  • Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs
  • Supporting the Rail operations team with resources requirements
  • Responding to queries that may be raised across the project
