What will the apprentice be doing?

The successful candidates will work in a dynamic environment in the production area of Print, Pre-press/Mounting and Ink developing a wide range of skills and experience.
Candidates will develop the following skills:
- Ink mixing
- Plate mounting
- Press operating with a view to ending up fully competent on the printing machines
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will obtain the Print Operative Level 2 qualification. Training for both the apprenticeship and the relevant skills to succeed in the role will take place at the workplace, with no requirement to travel to the training provider, BPIF Training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The potential career progression after the apprenticeship is a permanent role in the Print, Pre-press or Ink department which provide opportunities at different skill levels.
