About the employer

DMB Carpentry and Joinery Ltd were established in 1987. Even in those early years, we knew we wanted to build a great team of craftsman that would set our business above other contractors in the industry. We believe the only way to drive and build an exceptional team of skilled craftsman is through a mix of training and experience; we have been successfully running a Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship scheme for over 20 years. We even have a father and son working for us currently. We have two company directors; David Buckingham and Michael Buckingham. As brothers, David and I work well together, and have given the business a family run feel, where our entire workforce feel genuinely valued and respected. Staff will regularly want to go the extra mile as a matter of personal pride and commitment to the business. Our company has been successfully winning and gaining repeat business from commercial builders and architectural developers in London and the South East of England for more than 30 years. Year on year we have grown our turnover, growing to a 3 to 4 million pound business.
