What will the apprentice be doing?

The role of our hospitality apprentice is a diverse job with an exciting day and week….

·        Setting up and serving business breakfast to 40 VIP guests.

·        Frothing amazing cappuccinos on our Starbucks

·        Presenting buffets and working lunches into our function areas.

·        Serving from a pop-up bar or street food outlet.

·        Pouring the perfect pint for thirsty teams and fans.

·        Placing fine dishes down to wedding guests for that special day.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Qualification gained - Hospitality team member (level 2)

Functional skills maths and English if required.

This will be gain from a combination of 'on and off' job training, with the experience of the team at Chapel Gate and the support of our Training Provider, off site.  The plan is to offer a day per  week as the off site training.

 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Movement into event, bar, duty, deputy and general supervision and management in the hospitality industry
