What will the apprentice be doing?

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

You will:

  • Gain experience in retail
  •  Learn about over-the-counter medicines 
  • Assist in dispensing prescription medicines 
  • Order pharmaceutical stock 
  • Advise customers on over-the-counter medication  
  • Assist with minor ailments

Shifts to be Monday - Friday, with alternate Saturdays (9am - 1pm)

Wage to be £6.50 per hour

  • Learning will be delivered online in a live virtual classroom environment in the pharmacy
