What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Offer companionship and conversation
  • Monitor diet and eating

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training will be carried out by the employer and Rotherham College. The successful candidate will work toward the Level 2 or Level 3 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship Standard and have a mix of monthly face-to-face at work, weekly classes and remote tutor visit to support you through your learning journey.

Things to consider

A full DBS check is required prior to enrolling onto the apprenticeship. You must hold a UK driving license and have access to your own car as you are visiting people in their own homes. You must be over 18 due to insurance purposes.
