What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Attend and assist in extra-curricular activities and lunch-time duties

  • The apprentice will gain their Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard qualification
  • The apprentice will also be able to work towards their functional skills or GCSE retakes in both maths and English should they require

Delaware Primary Academy is part of the Bridge Multi-Academy Trust. It was rated as a good school by Ofsted. There is a nursery class onsite. It shares a Headteacher with nearby Gunnislake Primary Academy. Since the pandemic pupils from Gunnislake Primary Academy have been taught with Delaware pupils. Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and the ARC are based in the Delaware base. Year 5 and Year 6 are taught at the Gunnislake base.
