The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Hair Professional Standard Qualification
  • You will also work towards your functional skills or GCSE retakes in maths and English should you need or want to
  • As well as all practical aspects you will study hairdressing topics such as hair and skin testing, the effects of chemicals on hair and skin, and the principles of hair colour selection, alongside environmental and sustainable working practices
  • There is also the option to learn about promoting products, perming, and working with different hair types
  • You will attend weekly college workshops to cover practical masterclasses alongside structured theory sessions, to cover the Hair Professional Level 2 Standard

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Having completed the Level 2 qualification, there will be an opportunity to work towards an Advanced and Creative Hair Professional Level 3 to further enhance your skills
