What will the apprentice be doing?
Thanks to Early Years Practitioners at Little Acorns Nursery, our children become familiar with letters, numbers, colours, and shapes, as well as play and problem-solving skills. Working in a nursery based on farm, you will get the opportunity to visit a wide variety of animals and participate in forest school activities.

You will be expected to carry out different tasks such as -
-To ensure the health and safety of the children
-To ensure the children are well safeguarded.
-To uphold the principals of the Early Years Foundation Stage and statutory framework.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Acorns Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes: •Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours •Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator •Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid •Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) This will be delivered through Little Acorns dedicated training provider, Realise. Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.
