What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Learn how to undertake and produce typing from dictation;
  • Open and close client files;
  • Cover for reception, when required;
  • Collect post from relevant fee earners;
  • Take accurate telephone messages and pass these onto the relevant person;
  • Learn how to prepare correspondence and legal documents accurately;
  • Maintain an up-to-date filing system, archiving and retrieving files from storage when required;
  • To undertake administrative tasks such as copying when necessary;
  • To maintain and develop a knowledge and understanding of relevant IT skills;
  • Keep up to date the relevant excel spreadsheets of required information.
