What will the apprentice be doing?
Day to day duties will include:
- Maintain the cleanliness of the salon throughout the day
- Preparing clients for their services
- Shampoo, condition and rinse hair
- Reception duties such as answering telephone calls and making appointments
- Colouring, styling and cutting the hair
- Assisting and observing the stylists to gain knowledge on the different techniques
You will undertake general house keeping duties involved within the salon. You will be trained in Consultation, shampoo and condition the hair and scalp, style and finish hair the different cutting techniques and colouring techniques. Reception duties including booking appointments and taking payments on the online system

Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professional (Hairdressing)
Functional skills in maths and English to Level 2 if required
The Practical and Theory training will be delivered by one of the NHTA tutors within the salon. You can also attend the academy to receive extra training away from the salon
