What will the apprentice be doing?
My client is a specialist business rescue and insolvency practise with offices in Northampton and Bedford. They provide practical, helpful advice and solutions to a variety of businesses and individuals with financial problems.
The service they provide is based on a proven history of dealing successfully with businesses and individuals both locally and individually. This has resulted them in becoming a trusted and respectful firm in the business community.
My client is now looking for a business administrator to join their friendly, growing team.
Key duties will include:
- Assisting with general office duties such as data entry and letter writing using Microsoft Office
- Opening of incoming post
- Preparation of outgoing post
- Copying and distribution of reports
- Filing
- Amendment of letters and printing in final form
- Preparation of some letters
- Photocopying
- Inputting data on to spreadsheets
- Answering calls and replying to emails in a professional manner
- Reception cover
- General administrative duties
- Cashiering
The successful candidate must have good IT skills but most importantly excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The company are looking for a candidate that has a good telephone manner and communication skills, someone personable, reliable, approachable, determined, and ambitious.
The successful applicant must be willing to work on their own initiative but also can work as a team.
