What you will do in your working day

Duties include but not limited to: 

  • Answering the phone 
  • Dealing with customer queries/orders 
  • Responding to queries via email 
  • Filing 
  • Manning reception 
  • Booking swimming lessons in tutors' diaries 
  • Going through all the candidates that need to renew their lessons
  • Helping stock the swimming shop

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeships, you could progress onto the higher-level apprenticeships and work your way up to office manager level, which would be a management role often with team leader status
  • This qualification should give you transferable skills that will not limit you to one sector
