What will the apprentice be doing?

To undertake a variety of care duties, with trained carers present, in relation to residents’ physical and personal needs including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, serving meals, assisting to eat and any other personal needs

  • To promote the dignity, privacy and encourage the independence of residents under the supervision of the management, seniors and other care staff
  • Comply with CQC regulations
  • Adhering to current GDPR requirements
  • To undertake any other duties to enable the efficient delivery of excellent person-centered care

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 Diploma in Care (Adult Care)
  • College attendance is not currently required.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • There will be an opportunity for permanent employment and career progression on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

A Fine Residential Care Home for the Elderly. Whitefield House is a small family run care home located in Whitefield near Bury. We offer residents the highest level of professional and personal care within our beautiful Victorian property and private grounds. Dating back to 1902, Whitefield House has been tastefully renovated to provide for all the needs of its residents, while retaining much of the original character of the property.
