What you will do in your working day

This is an exciting role for an enthusiastic individual. You will be completing a wide range of duties, These will include:

  • Responding to patient enquiries via telephone, email and then accurately recording details of discussions.
  • Greeting patients and dealing with enquiries at the front reception desk
  • General administrative duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, posting mail, shredding
  • Booking appointments for patients
  • Processing requests
  • Learning new tasks within the reception role
  • Updating patient records as instructed by the Dentist
  • Keeping patient information confidential
  • Following all workplace policies and procedures

The training you will be getting

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • This is a work-based qualification with monthly time tabled classes.
