What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Handling general enquiries
  • Client interface & enquiries, including but not limited to quotation, invoices, and program.
  • Administering relevant Operational Systems – Quotes to Extra Works, Gritting System & Insights Portal
  • Administer change requests, contract variations and valuations
  • Procurement activities to include, raising PO’s, One off payment requests & ordering uniform
  • Personnel activities to include recruitment, letters, onboarding, leavers processing, timesheet completion & absence reporting
  • Compliance activities to include monitoring the regions health and safety data and assisting operations in compliance process and procedures
  • Fleet & Asset activities to include movement maintaining fleet related systems and local documents with changes/updates, fuel card orders, asset taxation, bookings relating to vehicle and Assets & conduct driving license checks.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Your training will be provided by both your Employer and Grey Seal Academy. All training is delivered face to face at the workplace either on site or videoconferencing, this includes one training session and one coaching session per month. You will have access to an online portfolio and virtual learning environment to assist your training and assessment during your programme.
