What will the apprentice be doing?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality customer focused technical support and training to non-teaching and teaching staff and to pupils, including 1:1 iPad training and assisting with INSET training where appropriate
- Install and maintain computer hardware, workstations, laptops, audio/visual equipment and peripherals
- Assist with the expansion of the school network infrastructure including switches, cabling and wireless network equipment
- Software installation, maintenance and upgrading in line with the school development policy
- Report any detected breach of the school’s IT acceptable use policy to the IT Network Manager
- Work on new projects beneficial to the IT environment
- Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Network Manager
