What will the apprentice be doing?

Daily duties will include:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Telephoning mortgage and insurance companies for updates on clients’ applications
  • Providing updates to clients by email and telephone
  • Updating the client computer database
  • Providing support to our team of financial advisers
  • Completing online applications for mortgages
  • Providing support to the team of administrators

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. This will involve one day a month group training at our centre in Newbury, and a 1-1 monthly training and review meeting with their training consultant.

Functional skills English and maths Level 2 will be delivered through weekly sessions if required at our training centre in Newbury.
