What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To liaise with parents and encourage their involvement in the aims of the nursery and in all aspects of their children’s care
  • Keep records of the children’s development using the nursery tracking, two-year-old check and key worker system
  • Actively participate as a member of the nursery and the wider Bunnies on the Green Nursery team in order to maintain high standards and improve services

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Paediatric first aid qualification
  • A possibilty of a level 2 Standard in childcare  might be available
  • Maths and English Functional Skills (If required)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • A career in childcare with the opportunity of higher level qualifcations in the future
