What will the apprentice be doing?

Working within Customer Services at aFinancial, you will be responsible for

  • Providing high-quality service to clients who are looking to buy or refinance their properties
  • You will liaise with banks, estate agents, insurance providers, and other third parties to ensure the smooth and timely completion of each mortgage application
  • You will also manage your own client bank and follow up with them throughout the 4–8-week cycle
  • Updating systems 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE PRACTITIONER LEVEL 2 
  • 12-Month qualification (12 months and 3 months EPA) 
  • Functional Skills maths and English if required
  • You will complete all training at the employer's premises
  • You will be assigned a 1 to 1 coach that will visit you at the employers premises every 4-6 weeks
  • You will attend face to face sessions with your coach as well as attending virtual meetings through Microsoft teams for further training sessions

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Things to consider

CeMAP is a level 3 credential listed in the Regulated Qualifications Framework with Ofqual (RQF). It is a recognised qualification that satisfies the FCA examination requirements for giving advice on mortgage products. Once finished, you have the potential of making up to £50,000 per year.
