What will the apprentice be doing?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls. 
  • Handling customer enquiries by answering questions, providing helpful information, and dealing with any problems that may arise. 
  • Processing customer and supplier requests promptly and efficiently ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support. 
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries whilst maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels (phone calls and emails).
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by maintaining high standards of administration duties.
  • Complete relevant daily reports to keep stock movements up to date.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels and assist in gathering reports for the Management team. 
  • Competent in various computer software packages including Microsoft and Excel. 
  • Report any accidents that you become aware of as soon as possible to your Supervisor.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 3 Business Administration at Stockton Riverside College.
  • Functional skills Maths & English, if required.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

An opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.
