You will be working alongside a dentist, helping and assisting them in all types of dental treatments. Our dentists are keen to help you and will explain what they are doing
  • Other days you will be assisting one of our Hygienists. Here you will learn about gum disease and how best to treat it. You will also learn our cross-infection control procedures and how to decontaminate and sterilise the instruments. There is a lot of information to take in and learn, but we will always be on hand to help you understand and retain the knowledge needed for each procedure

About the employer

The Aigburth Dental Practice is a well-established practice in South Liverpool. We have 5 dentists, 4 Hygienists & 11 clinical & admin staff. Many of the team have been with us for a long time and although we vary widely in age, we all get along really well. We are a predominantly private practice and offer a wide range of treatments. We want our employees to enjoy working for us, so we try to have a caring & encouraging mindset. We are very much patient focused, as we know the dentist isn’t everyone’s favourite place to visit. We like to make our patients feel that they are part of our dental “family”. We find this helps them to have a more relaxed visit. We are open and welcoming to staff and patients from all walks of life
