What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties to include: 

  • General administrative duties to include; filing, scanning and archiving documents 
  • Assisting in answering the telephone and dealing with queries 
  • Processing orders for kitchens 
  • Launching orders and distributing the relevant documentation to key areas 
  • Communicating between internal departments and external retailers to resolve any issues promptly and professionally 
  • To manage and maintain sample stock levels 
  • Use of Microsoft Office and bespoke order processing software.
  • Applicants should have strong IT skills, and be able to use Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook email and be willing to learn how to use bespoke company software
  • Applicants should also be Meticulous when it comes to detail and be able to check their own work. Knowledge in CAD software or data input packages would be advantageous as would kitchen industry experience (please note this is desirable not essential).

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Initially a 24-month contract, with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate
  • There are excellent opportunities for progression for the right candidate, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
