  • You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. Apprentices must successfully evidence a First Aid qualification approved by EYFS

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a position upon successful completion.

Hopscotch is a small friendly Day Nursery, which has been providing complete care for children since 1990. The premises have been converted from a traditional schoolhouse and provide extremely spacious surroundings. Hopscotch Day Nursery are registered with the local authority and Ofsted for children up to 5 yrs. The nursery pride themselves on being able to offer quality care by understanding that your children’s happiness is paramount. They provide every opportunity for children to form a good foundation to aid their development. Most importantly they offer children tender loving care; understanding that every child is an individual and each child is treated as one. at Hopscotch believe this encourages children to develop to their full potential. There are three nursery rooms where the children are divided into their appropriate groups according to age and ability. Disney Room and Little Monkey’s Room caters for the younger children whilst Jungle Room offers care for older children. All staff work towards ‘The Early Years Foundation Stage’ and make reference to the national standards where appropriate. With good transport links, Hopscotch Day nursery is located close to Belmont train station, and is easily accessible by train, bus and car.
