The company requires two engineering operative apprentices to work within their busy manufacturing operation, using CNC router and laser, punch and press brake, welding, paint coating and assembly.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Typical day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing, controlling and conducting manufacturing operations
- Checking materials
- CNC router
- CNC laser
- Turret punch
- Press brake
- Paint coating
- Finishing operations
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This is a level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship delivered over a period of 12 months. The apprentice will be required to attend a one-week induction at the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Telford TF3 3AJ as part of the training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Initially, we expect apprentices to be employed as a manufacturing operative and, for the right candidate, they will have the opportunity for further study and progression within the team.
