What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and sorting post.
  • Answering phone calls and transferring to the relevant contact within the business if needed and responding to emails in a professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Making phone calls to providers to ask for updates.
  • Helping to prepare postal and electronic reports to be sent to clients.
  • Inputting clients’ records on a client management database and updating when needed.
  • Dealing with client enquiries.
  • You will be tasked with a ‘project’ to complete for your apprenticeship.
  • Acting as a team player and helping colleagues with additional responsibilities as and when needed.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • 6 hours per week during working hours for training

  • Level 3 Business Administration Qualification after successful completion of the apprenticeship

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

 The successful candidate will be considered for a permanent position at the end of their apprenticeship and further industry training will be offered within the business if appropriate.
