The role includes drilling the stainless-steel filter bodies & dished ends, cutting stainless steel tube for nozzles and pressure testing completed filter housings.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Working initially alongside a tradesman helping:

  • Cut & roll stainless steel filter bodies
  • Drilling the stainless-steel filter bodies & dished ends
  • Cutting stainless steel tube for nozzles
  • Tack welding nozzles to bodies
  • Etch filter bodies for appropriate nameplate
  • Pressure testing completed filter housings
  • Building filter housing
  • Packing completed items

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

To attend Warrington & Vale Royal College for one day per week on a day release to work towards your Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position unpon completion of apprenticeship for the right candidate.
