Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker ALLIED FILTERS SYSTEMS LTD
This is an apprenticeship role and requires no previous experience in stainless steel fabrication/welding, with the added benefits of learning on the job and the support from one of the market leaders in filtration both UK & Europe. The role includes drilling the stainless-steel filter bodies & dished ends, cutting stainless steel tube for nozzles and pressure testing completed filter housings.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Working initially alongside a tradesman helping:
- Cut & roll stainless steel filter bodies
- Drilling the stainless-steel filter bodies & dished ends
- Cutting stainless steel tube for nozzles
- Tack welding nozzles to bodies
- Etch filter bodies for appropriate nameplate
- Pressure testing completed filter housings
- Building filter housing
- Packing completed items
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
To attend Warrington & Vale Royal College for one day per week on a day release to work towards your Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time position unpon completion of apprenticeship for the right candidate.
