Adams Enclosures Limited are looking to recruit a Level 3 Welding and Fabrication apprentice. The ideal candidate will have already completed level 2 in welding and now looking for progression. What will the apprentice be doing?
Level 3 Welding and Fabrication Apprentice required to continue their studies/training in welding. Ideally, you will have already achieved level 2 in welding and looking to progress further.
- Steel press punching
- Assembly work
- Using robotic equipment
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The training for this apprenticeship will be delivered over two years. An assessor will visit the apprentice on a monthly basis, at the company, and the apprentice will also be required to attend college one day per week. College is In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG.
Training will include:
- General & Welding Specific Health & Safety
- Dimensional & Mechanical Properties of Materials
- Welding Procedures, Parameters & Symbols
- Testing & Inspection
- Welding Defects
- MIG, MAG and FCAW processes
- MMA ProcessesTIG-TAG and PAW Processes
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Full-time position within the welding/fabrication department
