What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for a proactive practically minded enthusiastic individual to become a key member of the production team. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team and individually, be comfortable working at heights and using hand tools.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Trim weed and mount vinyl onto foamex / dibond / acrylic - laminate vinyl using roll-to-roll laminator
- Assist in signage installation and vehicle livery application
- Quality control and packing jobs for despatch
- Collating and assembling of chevron kits
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be awarded a Level 3 Signage Technician apprenticeship standard. The apprentice will be given sufficient time to complete the 'off-the-job' requirement of the apprenticeship during their normal working hours. Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by both Victory Design Ltd and BPIF Training. You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available. Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit your own development and the business needs. Most training and studying will be a combination of site-based and remote delivery. Candidates who do not have the required level of maths and/or English will be required to complete functional skills as part of their apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The aim is for the candidate to become a permanent member of the Production team once the apprenticeship has been successfully completed.
