What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Supporting the preparation of sales invoices and month-end duties
  • Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries, including phone
  • Data entry
  • Checking and inputting purchase ledger invoices
  • Dealing with the general day to day purchase ledger queries
  • Ensuring that the purchase ledger is effectively controlled and maintained
  • Assisting the finance team by carrying out general administration duties including filing, photocopying
  • Monitoring and maintaining deadlines
  • Preparing letters and invoices from templates
  • Calling customers in regards to payments
  • Supporting the work of the accounts/finance team in additional areas as required
