What will the apprentice be doing?

Working in a busy food redistribution warehouse, the Warehouse Apprentice will be part of the Operations Team working to:

  • Unload & book in deliveries into the warehouse
  • Pick, pack, & sort orders going out
  • Loading delivery vans
  • Counting stock in the warehouse

 

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Full Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2
  • All training to take place at the employer's premises

Things to consider

The role can be physically demanding, working in a busy warehouse environment – all staff are expected to work alongside the volunteers picking, packing, and sorting food, as well as helping on the delivery vans and cleaning the warehouse
