Exciting opportunity to join a growing Engineering and Coatings company in Washington. Knowledge and experience in turning and milling would be advantageous. Also, reading from engineering drawings and a good understanding of CAD. Basic electronics knowledge would be beneficial.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Preparing material for coating or machining
- Customers range from large manufacturers to members of the public
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 Standard which includes a Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills).
All training to take place at the employer's premises.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Our first trainee machinist is now Machine Shop Supervisor.
Our first apprentice is still with us after completing level 2 Lean Manufacturing and has had a pay rise as well as securing a full time position. We are a great believer in promotion from within.
