What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Sorting / opening of Company / Lottery Office inbound mail
  • Resolving member queries
  • Batching (new members, lottery renewal subscriptions etc.).
  • Computer data entry, verification and reporting (new members, lottery renewals, subscriptions, cancellations etc.
  • Debit / credit card payment processing.
  • Delivery / despatch of standing order mandates to the relevant bank / building societies
  • Banking / payment reconciliation and reporting
  • Running the weekly lottery / prize draw for our clients
  • Post draw winner’s functions and reporting
  • Despatching of Company / Lottery office outbound mail

  • Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College
  • Subject to attending an Apprenticeship Interview with Lancaster and Morecambe College
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 (or equivalent) and two other GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications at C/4
  • Functional Skills may be required if entry requirements not met

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once the Apprenticeship is complete the learner could progress onto further Administration or Management positions.
