Our ideal candidate with have a genuine passion for working in the IT industry, and a good working knowledge of computers and how to build, install, troubleshoot and repair them. We want someone with good knowledge of products, from laptops to networking devices.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Assemble and disassemble computers, laptops, MacBooks, iMacs, and iPads which incorporates:
- Changing RAM, HDD, CPU's, fans, and other components
- Repairing faulty devices
- Hardware compatibility testing and troubleshooting
- Laptop and tablet screen replacement
- Laptop keyboard replacement
- roubleshooting software and hardware problems including Windows and drivers
- Change or repair faulty parts including sockets and chips.
- The replacement of computer screens
- Accurately build, test, configure, install, clean, refurbish, and repair a wide range of desktop PC’s, laptops, and Apple products
- Complete all allocated customer orders per workday, ensure customer order requirement dates are met, and build advance stock for future sales
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x 1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.
The apprentice will be required to complete:
- Work towards gaining a full Level 3 IT Solutions Qualification
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours
- Standard and End Point Assessment
- Functional Skills in English, maths, and ICT (if required)
Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.
